A little advice...

I submitted the first 50 minutes of our doc for a film lab. The feedback: re-edit and resubmit. If I’m being honest, they were simply stating what I already knew. You have one chance to make a first impression and our film needs to be streamlined for impact.

We’ve already begun re-editing and I will re-record the rewritten script this summer. This means the self-assigned deadline of September 2023 will look more like September 2024. While there is disappointment in postponing our story, there is great excitement in crafting the best version of our film we can.

Know that we will be sharing clips and outtakes throughout the next year. I promise to keep you informed of the process as we move forward and I thank you for your much-appreciated, continued support.
